Global Wellbeing Commitment

WOHASU® is proud of the H-20 Government Meeting, our beyond GDP initiative.

How do we measure success? And, how do governments measure success? The answers to these questions are at the heart of the H-20 dialogue. We gather a diverse audience to cross pollinate ideas and discuss innovative problem solving to improve wellbeing on a country level.

H-20 Summit also serves as a global platform to expand the findings of leading happiness and wellbeing surveys, reports and measurements issued to promote the United Nations World Happiness Day on March 20th to demonstrate that the science of happiness and national variations in the wellbeing of individuals are directly intertwined.

The theme of the H-20 Lisbon was positive peace, and we addressed the subject from the point of view of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Human Rights and Public Happiness. We are honored to support the UNESCO Chair on Education for Global Peace Sustainability hosted by the Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Políticas (ISCSP) Universidade de Lisboa. And, we are pleased to have featured a keynote address by former President Laura Chinchilla of Costa Rica.

WOHASU gathers stakeholders from the government, civic, corporate, academic, positive psychology, social and emotional intelligence, and human development sectors. We bring together the brightest thought leaders and innovators from each of these sectors. WOHASU features the invitation-only H-20, a working roundtable with country leaders, and the World Happiness Summit, three-day experiential consumer conference.

WOHASU means to anchor the practice of happiness with global gatherings to improve our communities, our cities, our world and ourselves. Understanding these primary indicators can help improve policies to support better lives and foster smart prosperity.
